Director-General of Health Services Nalaka Kaluwewa today (05) handed over the details of 07 corona deaths to the Government Information Department and issued a press release in this regard. According to the announcement, a 91-year-old man from Bandaragama died at his home on December 03. The cause of death was a heart attack associated with a corona infection.
A 53-year-old prison inmate died on Dec. 1. The cause of death was coronavirus-induced pneumonia.
A 56-year-old woman from Dematagoda died on December 4 at the Intensive Care Unit of the IDH Hospital. The cause of death was pneumonia with corona.
An 81-year-old woman from Bandaragama died at her home on November 28. The cause of death was an acute lung disease and heart disease associated with corona infection.
An 84-year-old woman residing in Colombo 13 has died at home on the 4th. The cause of death is said to be corona pneumonia.
